Pipe Movers

I thought this was a pretty cool shot out the window. You can see Ted's arm and gloves with the pickup and pipe trailer behind us as we are driving from one line to the next. The mud on the mirror is from the other day. Adam and Morgan got stuck in a low spot on the farm where it was muddy! The pickup is really muddy now. Luckily, they were able to get it out.

Here is our pickup with the pipe trailer. This is what I get to drive while Adam and Ted load the pipe trailer. I really feel like I get the easy job when it comes to moving pipe.

Here is a ball we found in our field. Last year, before we could disc or plant, we had to go out into our fields and pick up all this trash that our neighbors had let blow into our fields. They seriously do not know how to put things in the trash. So, this is our latest addition to the trash bag!

Ted was having a little too much fun moving pipe, and since I was taking pictures, he had to perform a little for me. Here he is pulling up his shirt and shaking his booty for me. Oh, Ted! Never a dull moment when he is around! How do you like his Carhart pants? I got those at Cal Ranch for $10.

Adam and Ted gave me a big smile after we had finished up for the night. Look at how happy they are to have the pipe all moved in. It is one of those jobs on the farm you least like to do.

We had a sunset that literally caught fire last night. We thought it was my Dad sending a pretty sunset telling us good job on finishing up with the pipe moving. It used to be one of his least favorite jobs on the farm.

We had a great and productive day yesterday. We were able to finish moving in all of our pipe for the winter. That way, the snowplows won't run into them, or hunters won't shoot them and ruin them. We have been really lucky, Ted was able to get off work early and come help us move the pipe in. Also, Adam, Morgan, and Ted went out at 7 in the morning yesterday and moved in some pipe before Ted went to work. What we would do is, Ted and Adam would pick up the pipe and put them on the pipe trailer while me or Morgan drove the truck. That way it would go a lot faster. And, it did work out quite well.
